Sam is a registered inclusive education teacher and developmental educator, having completed Bachelors in Disability Studies and Education at Flinders University.

She is passionate about supporting students of all ages achieve their goals in and out of the classroom with a high emphasis on their wellbeing. This is done both working directly with students through Tier 3 intervention and developmental educator support, and supporting teachers through training programs designed to broaden their understanding of students with complex needs.

Her lived experience with neurodiversity and learning difficulties provides an authentic understanding of the challenges that students, teachers and families face.

Sam has over 10 years experience working with students with;

  • Autism Spectrum Disorders

  • ADHD

  • Complex Trauma

  • Specific Learning Difficulties (dyscalculia, dysgraphia, dyslexia)

  • Mental health and wellbeing challenges
